    We are looking for a Sales and Marketing manager to bring Otso to the next level by refining and executing our sales and marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will be a team-player who is a self-starter, curious and eager to learn, and should be well organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills is a must. As a part of a small team, you will be expected to both direct the work and in many cases do the work. 

    Specific job responsibilities will include:
    -Creating, managing and executing the strategic Sales plan to expand Otso’s customer base including communicating with dealers and expanding online sales
    -Creating, managing, and executing the forward looking marketing strategy for Otso
    -Identifying key strategic questions, source quantitative and qualitative insights across industry, competitor and customers either via internal or external resources
    -Providing clear direction, feedback and ideas to team to drive day to day and long term growth
    -Provide input on social media content, web analytics, e-mail marketing and search engine optimization
    -Foster customer engagement and work with brand ambassadors to build brand awareness.
    -Help with product launch planning including design and copy, events, and advertising materials
    -Owning build specs, margins and the business plan for current and new products
    -Driving differentiation through competitive assortment based on industry trends
    -Hiring and training new Otso sales and marketing staff as the need arises


    Basic Qualifications:
    -5+ years cycling or outdoor industry experience
    -3+ years people or resource leadership and/or management experience (indirect or direct).
    -Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field
    -Sales leadership and marketing development marketing or related experience
    -Advanced understanding of general marketing and sales principles
    -Knowledge and hands-on experience with digital marketing and social media
    -Expert communication (written and verbal) skills, tailoring communications to fit various audiences and levels 
    -Expert presentation skills with the ability to present effectively in a clear, concise and insightful manner 
    -Advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and experience in Excel and Powerpoint
    -Experience with Google Drive and Google Docs
    -Experience with brand positioning and line extensions in fast-paced product categories
    -Proven ability to manage marketing programs and campaigns in a highly dynamic, collaborative environment
    -Solid understanding of cycling culture and bike technology
