The Warakin was designed to be and incredibly versatile bike.  The Tuning Chip dropout system allows it to switch between quick and nimble CX geometry for a day of racing or relaxed and stable  geometry for an all day gravel adventure. The ample tire clearance allows you to run 2" tires to handle roots and rocks or roll 28c tires for a smooth as butter ride on the tarmac. The frame is loaded with fender mounts, rack mounts, and braze-ons everywhere for water bottles and other accessories. Plus the durable stainless steel frame means it can handle a little rough treatment without succumbing to paint chips or rust. All that versatility makes the Warakin the perfect ready-for-anything bike to explore the world.

Unfortunately, flying with a bike can be a frustrating and expensive experience. Bike bags are bulky and hard to handle and some airlines charge bike fees as high as $350 each way. Fortunately, we have the ideal solution in the form of frame couplers from S&S Machine. The couplers are made from stainless steel and perfectly match the frame tubing on the Warakin. With the couplers installed you can easy separate the frame into two pieces. That allows you to fit your bike into a non-oversized piece of luggage and avoid the extra airline fees.

The couplers are added by precision cutting the frame and hand welding the couplers in place. It takes about 4-6 weeks to have frames modified after an order is placed. The cost for the upgrade is $700 in addition to the cost of the frame or complete bike. As you can see from the images the quality of the welds and ever detail down to matching the bead blasted graphics on the frame are perfect!
